The Love Church’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disease Statement

 

We're praying for all those impacted and infected. We're asking God to continue to cover and keep our city, our state & our country. We're grateful for leadership that is both Proactive, Practical, and Prayerful!

 

To the Partners of TLC:

 

Our mission is "LOVE, GROW, AND EMPOWER."

 

Each week our volunteers prepare extensively for your arrival. This week and the coming weeks are no different. At this time, WE WILL NOT HOLD our weekly services. Service will stream on Sunday at 11:30am EST on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

Also, we have something online that we’re calling “Church Hub.” It’ll give you ALL the updates you’ll need to know. All of our church information in one place! Including times for our online services, bible studies, times for food distribution, onsite giving/online giving and children packets to keep the littles ones busy and learning.

 

We will continue monitoring this developing health pandemic closely and staying in contact with health agencies and experts to ensure your worship experience is safe.

 

Due to the numerous warnings which have been issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), TLC encourages everyone to heed the advice of the CDC and US State Department. Currently, there have been only two confirmed cases in Forsyth County, for which we are incredibly grateful.

 

Here ae some things you can do to help keep the virus in check:

  • Maintain social distancing (6 feet away from others) when out in public.

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, and for at least 20 seconds each time.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Stay home if you are sick.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

  • Do not reuse tissue after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.

  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched.

 

God has given medical professionals and guidelines for our safety.

 

In the meantime, consider 2 Timothy 1:7, which says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
